Border Collies, one of the best herding dogs in the world, are known for their intelligence and instinct. The breed originated on the border between Scotland and England, but are now used for herding world wide. Border Collies were chosen for their ability to go out around the stock and bring them back to the shepherd.

Border Collies can have either a smooth or rough coat and come in a variety of colors. The "classic" or most common Border Collie has a "rough" or long haired coat with black and white markings. However, Border Collies come in many colors such as red and white, tri-color (which is usually black and white with tan), red merle and blue merle.

Baillee is a smooth coat tri-color. Maggie is a rough coat black and white. Anna is a medium coat tri-color. Kinley is a red and white rough coat. Dave is a medium rough coat black and white, Ben is a smooth coat black and white. Ty is a half face medium coat black and white and Flash is a medium coat black and white. Click on the links below to see each dog's pedigree.
